Basil (Ocimum basilicum) Essential Oil is steam distilled from the leaves and flowering parts of the plant and is produced in many regions of the world. 

This product is 100% pure Therapeutic Grade Essential Oil 

The oil is best known for it's calming effects and is a valuable asset to help those suffering from mental and physical tiredness and nervous fatigue.

It is also traditionally used to help relieve menstrual pain or the pain of intestinal cramping 

A good recipe for anxiety or stress:

Add 2 drops of basil essential oil with 1 teaspoon of Soya oil. This mixture can be rubbed all over the body. Alternatively, add 3 drops of Basil oil to a vaporiser. The aroma will invigorate initially and thencalm the nervous system and aid restful sleep.

For intestinal discomfort add 4 drops (no more than this) of Basil oil to 1 tablespoon of vegetable or olive oil. Massage into abdomen in a clockwise direction starting at the bottom left. 

The bottle contains 10ml and has an insert dropper for ease of use in dispensing the oil
